Team Thunder Wrestling Academy was established over 20 years ago to bring an organized and technically solid wrestling system to the Southern California wrestling community. Over the past two decades, Team Thunder Wrestling has been responsible for adding countless state and national champions to the illustrious wrestling heritage of the state of California. Through it’s proven teaching system, Team Thunder Wrestling Academy is ready to give you the tools to help you achieve your wrestling goals.
The Team Thunder Wrestling Academy meets weekly at two different Southern California locations.
Elite level instruction is given from 6:30pm to 8:30pm every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 3232 W. MacArthur Blvd., Santa Ana, CA 92704
Novice level instruction is given from 6:30pm to 8:30pm Every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 17816 Bushard Street, Fountain Valley, CA 92708
Open Mat Night is available from 6:30pm to 8:30pm every Tuesday and Thursday at 3232 W. MacArthur Blvd., Santa Ana, CA 92704
The Team Thunder Wrestling Academy offers different levels of membership to suit your instructional needs.
Elite Level Membership
Coached by Jacob Harman. The Elite Level membership entitles each eligible member to the M/W elite level training administered by Coach Harman, as well as the Open Mat sparring sessions that meet on T/TH. The Elite Level membership cost is $150/mo or $350 for the November 14th 2011-February 2012 session.
Novice Level Membership
The Team Thunder Wrestling Academy offers an excellent introductory experience to the sport of wrestling. Our team immerses the students in all aspects of the wrestling training, drilling, and preparation through wrestling technique, mat strategy, competition philosophy; all while encouraging camaraderie through team unity. The Novice Level membership entitles each eligible member to the M/W Novice level training, as well as the Open Mat sparring sessions that meet on T/TH. The Novice Level membership cost is $100/mo or $275 for the November 2011-February 2012 session.
Open Mat Night
Our Open Mat Night offers evening sparring sessions for the local youth to try all the new techniques they have been learning in a safe and supervised environment. These live-wrestling sessions will often be highlighted by local talent, OC area coaches, and various college alumni administering competition advice and mat strategy. Our Open Mat nights are also available to non-members for $20 per session or $50/mo.
